This is a story about school shootings which is told through the medium of dance.

On February 14th, 2018, there was a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High that left 17 people dead and 17 people injured. The film opens with school shooting survivor Kyle Laman telling the story about the day that he got shot. It then transitions into a dance about school shootings, where the story is being told through the perspective of the kids that do not survive. All ages are used in the film as it strives to represent all children who have been victims of school shootings. The film depicts the panic and chaos which occurs during a mass shooting, without ever showing the shooter on screen. The film acts as a dancing public service announcement made to raise awareness about the desperate need for reforms. What will you do to help?

"It's in your hands to make a difference".

KIDS FIRST! Film REVIEW

"Impressive dance theater piece that takes on an issue of our times - cyberbullying. It sensitively shows how thoughtless comments can negatively impact a young person. Throughout the piece we are shown a group of young people dancing an emotional dance that shows us their inner troubled feelings. I really really recommend this. It is beautifully shot and edited and I give credit to the young dancers who perform in this. This would make a wonderful addition to any film festival. Recommended for ages 8 to 18. (See Me) I’m in Here! ©

(See Me) I'm in Here! is the first film made in the short film series, Dancing 4 Change. It is a silent film that uses the medium of dance to tell the story. There are 9 teenagers in the film. Each represents a different mental illness. Even though their problems are all different, they all feel the same, ostracized by their title. (See Me) I'm in Here! is a film about teens begging to be seen, begging to be heard.
